1914 - 1996. Born in Belfast. Educational Administrator. He taught in London, Drogheda and Dun Laoghaire. Received his PHd in physics from Queens University Belfast in 1949. Appointed as Chief Executive Officer Tralee Vocational Education Committee 1960 – 1967, and subsequently CEO Monaghan VEC 1967 – 1979. Chairman of Monaghan committee promoting the cause of the Venerable Matt Talbot (he might be considered a patron of men and women struggling with alcoholism). Knight of St Columbanus. Award presented by Bishop Duffy in Louis Convent Monaghan in September 1988. Buried in Monaghan.
