1927 – 13 February 2021. From Toome Co Antrim. Married to Maureen two daughters. Worked initially in the railway industry in Rhodesia/ Zimbabwe and then to South Africa in the hotel industry. Returned to Ireland in 1970 again in the hotel industry and then became a publican in Letterkenny. Founder member of Rotary Letterkenny and awarded a paul Harris Fellowship. Provincial Grand Knight of the Knights of St Columbanus. Award conferred by Bishop Boyce 2 April 1997.
