1930 – 2003. From Dundrum, he was financial controller of Associated Tailors Ltd (Burtons). He assisted in the finances of a number of parishes and subsequently became financial controller of CMAC (Accord) Dublin Region and additionally management of the Dublin Diocese church finances. He was instrumental in setting up the “Share Fund” whose objective was financial to less well off parishes. He also managed the finances for the “ Dublin Diocesan Jubilee Committee”. He was a Reader and a Eucharist Minister. In Accord he trained and qualified as a counsellor. The award was presented in University Church St Stephens Green by Bishop Ray Field, auxiliary of Dublin and former Head Chaplain of the Defence Forces, who held the appointment of vice-director of Accord.
