1914 - 1993 . From Belfast he was educated at St Mary’s Barrack Street CBS with Cardinal William Conway. Partner Bastow Charleton, now Crowe Horwath, Chartered Accountants. He was patron of the Carmelite Sisters at Our Lady’s Manor. Prior to entering private practice he had a career as a civil servant. He was one of the three trustees (Noel Peart SC and Vincent Crowley FCA) of the Devlin Dollar Foundation which distributed $500,000 in the period 1958 - 1975. Used to erect churches and for charitable purposes throughout the country. Presented at a private ceremony by Archbishop Dermot Ryan. His wife Una was sister of President Cearbhall O Dalaigh. He died on 14 December 1993.
