1915 - 1995.From Caherciveen Co Kerry, but long-time resident of Dublin. Chairman Brennan Insurance. Captain DFHQ 1940 – 1943. Charlie with Eugene Davy KSG and others helped to found the Belvedere Society of our Lady of Lourdes in 1952, to help in sending boys to Lourdes. Chief Brancardier Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 1954-1975. Belvedere Old Boy. Member RTE Authority 1959 – 1963. Member of the boards of Jervis Street and James Connolly Memorial Hospitals. The award was conferred with two others, with insignia and parchment by Archbishop Ryan for the organisation of the diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Brother of Patrick Brennan, KSG. Admitted as a Knight of Malta 1957. He died on 17 February 1995 and is buried, like so many other papal knights, in Deansgrange Cemetery.
