1926 - 2011. Born in the Parish of St. Matthews Belfast he was JP and Supreme Knight of Columbanus 1978-1981, chairman of the NI Post Office Users Council and the Fair Employment Agency in 1985. Received decoration from Italian Government for Order material assistance in relief work there following an earthquake. £30,000 was raised in 1980 during his term to purchase caravans for use in the Southern Italian earthquake disaster, which were driven to Italy. Had audience with Pope John Paul 11 in July 1979.
